How does Kakao destroy personal information?

    Kakao destroys, without delay, personal information after fulfilling the purpose of collection.
    It shall also be destroyed without delay when requested by the user (i.e. deleting one's account). However, it shall be separately retained, if necessary to be maintained for the protection of user rights during a specific period under the relevant laws and regulations, such as refund. It shall not be used for purposes other than storage and shall be destroyed without delay after the expiration date.

    Electronic files are deleted by technical methods making it unrestorable and unrecoverable.
    Printed copies are shredded or incinerated for deletion.
